What is Npower ?

N-power is a programme, introduced by Nigerian government.This  programme was aimed at solving the problem of unemployment among Nigerian youths and graduates. I would be expecting you the reader to keep your mind at question like, '' when was Npower established in Nigeria ?'' , ''When was Npower founded ?''

   well, this is a wise question to have asked as this could even be asked during your Npower test taking . The fact is that it was established in 2016.
      As a matter of fact,  the N-Power is also linked to the Federal Government’s policies in the economic, employment and social development arenas. It however, addresses the challenge of youth unemployment through provision of  structure for large scale and relevant work skills acquisition and development,  while linking its core and outcomes to fixing inadequate public services and stimulating the larger economy.
    The modular programmes under N-Power are designed to ensure that each participant  learns and practices most of what is necessary to find or create work.
 The N-Power Volunteer Corp involves a massive deployment of 500,000 trained graduates who will assist to improve the inadequacies in our public services in education, health and civic education. Some of these graduates will also help in actualizing Nigeria’s economic and strategic aspirations of achieving food security and self-sufficiency.
         Eligibility For applying To The Programme

  To be eligible to apply for the  programme, the following criteria must be met:

1. Applicants must be between the age bracket of 18-35 years at the time of applying
2. Must show genuine interest towards work
3. Must pass the relevant  test
4. Must show willingness to push oneself beyond comfort zone
5. Must show willingness to learn all that you need to learn at the program and readiness to impact it.

Note that just in 1 year, over 200,000 graduates and non-graduates has benefited from npower programme .
