Benue boils as policemen gun down okada rider

A motorcyclist, otherwise known as okada, has been shot dead in Zaki Biam area of Benue State.

The man, whose identity cannot be ascertained at the moment lost his life in a clash between police and Okada riders in the area.

The Okada riders who are currently carrying the corpse of their colleague -have mobilized themselves for a serious protest against the police force.

However, when our correspondent contacted state police spokesman Moses Yamu, he denied knowledge of the incident.

“I’m not aware yet. I will call you back as soon as I find out. Thank you,” he said.
