Kogi Governor Inaugurates 239 Coordinators

Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello has inaugurated 239 coordinators and with the responsibility to sensitise and educate the people at the grassroots on the activities of government.

The mobilisation group, which was inaugurated on Tuesday and named ‘GYB grassroot Connect’, was charged to ensure discipline, orderliness, morality and loyalty to constituted authorities in the state.

Governor Bello admonished the coordinators to be his representatives at the grassroots, noting that they are to monitor all government projects and give reports to relevant government agencies.

The governor, who rued the rate of indiscipline in the society, urged the coordinators to always be vigilant and report suspicious persons to security agencies.
