Free-For-All Fight Erupts During Football Match After Player Slapped Referee. [See Graphic Photos]

A video has emerged showing the moment a mass brawl erupted during a non-league Uruguayan game between Conventos and Boca Junior.

The footage begins with the referee calling the shots over a clearly controversial decision - and players from both sides surrounding the official.

Things look a little tense but it's not until one player repeatedly slaps the hand of the referee do three members of the opposing team rush over.

Out of nowhere a nasty looking headbutt then sparks a mass brawl.

Almost every player can be seen throwing punches, kicking and running at each other in a fit of rage. Needless to say the match was abandoned.

Reports suggest that the brawl took place in the fourth tier of Uruguayan football at the Salesian Liceo stadium.

Several players were injured and one can be seen wearing a headbrace on a stretcher and taken to hospital.
