Mixed reactions as Tanzanians express dissatisfaction over Wizkid's "BEST AFRICAN ACT" award in MTV EMA

Tanzanians are angry with Wizkid and MTV EMA’s for giving Wizkid the award for “Best African Act” because they strongly believe that the award should have gone to their very own star artiste Alikiba and not Wizkid. They took to social media to vent their anger with many of them insulting Wizkid for being a cheat.
Wizkid who won two awards at the MTV EMA’s for “Best African Act” and “Wordlwide Act” got a lot of praises from Nigerians and people of other countries but Tanzanians were feeling bittered that they were robbed of their award.  Some even claimed that Wizkid bought the award and the one he won at MAMA’s last month.

The name Alikiba is not widely known across Africa not to mention internationally,I  just don’t know their reason for believing their artiste is bigger than Africa’s starboy, Wizkid.

An angry Tanzanian who lamented bitterly over the matter had this to say;

“Alikiba got many votes than Wizkid in the category of Best African Act, why did you now favour Wizkid!!

This is Nepotism!!

Stop cheating just give Alikiba the award he won!! We were sacrificing our sleep  just to vote for Alikiba!!

We sweat voting for the Bongo Flavour King, but you are giving the award our artiste won to Wizkid!!!

Shame on you!!!

Bring back our award please and let King Alikiba win it!!!

Idiot!!!”
