Shocker!! Couple Found Dead On Farm In Ebonyi

The people of Mgbaleze Isu, Onicha Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, were thrown into mourning and agony after discovering the body of one Mr Chijioke Ani hanging on a tree and his wife lying nearby in a pool of blood with violence marks all over her.



Reports had it that Mr Ani, 36, and his wife went to the farm but didn’t return home, this prompt the villagers to organize a search party for them only to discover their life-less bodies.

According to a resident of the community, Chief Sylvanus, the couple was seen last on their way to the farm, he said: “They went to the farm and did not return home.

“At some point, we were disturbed so we informed other villagers, mobilised and went in search of them.

“We finally found the wife, Ngozi, lying dead in a pool of blood with marks of violence all over her body, while Chijioke Ani, was found hanging from a tree.”

The state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP George Okafor who confirmed the incident said investigations had commenced on the sad incident but maintained that the man may have killed his wife before hanging himself.
