"OLD AGE"_ _ Composed by Nwosu Olisaemeka Evans Paschal
When he hopped up and down on her
Speedily and then slowly
It ran from him into her
With this moment of ecstasy for him
It ran to meet an egg in her
For days her belly bulged bigger and bigger
The ninth month was a day of joy
You came out crying
Not because of pain
Your cry gave her joy
She carried you with her everywhere she goes
At first you crawled
You sat and
You stood
She fed you from herself
And then by herself
You were always with her
She starts leaving you
You cry for her to come back
When you see her you rejoice
You make castles in the sand
You think that you and they
Will live in it forever
You were always with them
You start feeling butterflies
Within you when you see her
If you were fair
Your face turns red
Whenever she touches you
You hug her tightly
Just to feel her warmth
Her mouth tastes crispy
Just like strawberry
You will like to lick them
Till they are finished
You took her to the altar
The two beautiful bulge on her chest
Makes you mad
They become firm
With their eyes gazing boldly at you
Sometimes you lick their eyes
Sometimes you bite them
She didn’t complain instead
She pleaded for more of it
You were always with her
Just like your parents
You now have lovely birds
Playing around you
They look into your eyes for support
They are always around you
You were always with them
And then she stops breathing
Her eyes closed right inside your arms
Just like you the birds have grown
Some use Mohammed and virgins as alibi
Some use cattle’s safety
Some simple selfishness and greed
Some seek for acceptance and fulfillment
When this canoe sinks
It goes down with us
If only we can reason together
We will even own the ocean
